Jamie Oliver is thrilled to announce new gadgets in his Kitchen Kit range, ‘must-haves’ for every kitchen, including his own. These new gadgets build on Jamie’s mantra of "You need good kit to make good food".
The new range includes a slotted turner, a slotted fish slice, ladle with pouring lip, serving spoon and straining spoon. All are manufactured from stylish brushed stainless steel with soft touch handle detail for extra grip. Designed with ease of use in mind, Jamie has himself determined the angles and shapes of each tool to ensure they are comfortable to use.
These tools are complimented by a stainless steel potato masher, with a handy silicone bowl scraper to ensure every last piece of mash is removed from the pan and a pair of stainless steel tongs, with locking switch for easy storage and an anti-pinch design which prevents painful pinching of your hands between the tongs. The stainless steel tool collection is completed by a stylish 550mm long hanging rail, with hooks, so the tools can be both displayed and kept in easy reach for use.
The latest addition to the gadget line-up includes an innovative "twist and slide" apple corer, incorporating a clever twisting lower handle, with in-built pusher, to easily remove cores with ease and no mess. A firm favourite with Jamie and high on his wish list of essential tools is this pair of acid etched graters. These feature a sturdy metal frame with ultra sharp stainless steel grating blades, a fine grater for Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, garlic and zesting fruit and the coarse grater is ideal for hard cheese, ginger and chocolate. They have a blade guard for safe storage and angled soft touch handles.
